No, rates are subject to an additional 10% government tax and 5% service charge at time of booking and are payable with accommodation. Taxes are made totally transparent at the time of inquiry and on the rates page of the website.
Can I pay with credit card at check-out?
Yes (MasterCard or Visa). Please note that the guest is responsible for the 3% bank charge.
What time is check-in and check-out?
11 am check-out and 2 pm check-in. Guests will be met at the airport by the villa manager and be delivered directly to the villa for check-in. If coming from another property they will be met by the villa manager at the hotel lobby at 2pm. A late check-out can be guaranteed by payment of 50% of the full house published rate.
If I am on a late flight will a late check-out be possible?
Please note that a late check-out will be extended to you if there is no new arrival that day. However, you may guarantee a late check-out to suit your flights by paying a discounted 50% of the daily published rate. This is advisable as back-to-back bookings are the norm.
If you choose not to guarantee a late check-out (or if it wasn’t available at booking time because of previous bookings) and there is a new check-in on the day of your departure your check-out time will be 11am without exception.
However, we are keen to help make your last day a special one and storage facilities are available at the reception.

Is reception at the hotel available 24 hours a day?
YES. However, guests are always met by the manager at either the airport or another property and dropped back there. All bookings need to be made in advance through head office (see Booking inquiry in the Booking section of the website).

What if I need to cancel or make a date change? Do I need travel insurance?
Travel insurance is a personal decision. As changes to your reservation or cancellations affect us greatly, the following cancellation policy applies. We encourage you to consider comprehensive travel insurance in the event that circumstances outside of your control cause late cancellation of your booking.

Deposits and final payments are non-refundable, however, bookings can be moved out to anywhere within 12 months of the original booking dates, subject only to availability (prices will change if there is a change of season). One change of dates allowed only and if within 8 weeks of check-in a 50% penalty will apply (75% for peak period bookings).

Will I be met at the airport?
YES. You will be met by the villa manager.
Is an express VIP airport service provided?
YES, on arrival and departure:

ARRIVAL:
We can provide an individual express arrival service for our guests whereby airport clearance is assisted and expedited. To help facilitate this please have your US$ 25 pp visa-on-arrival payment and your passport ready as you leave the plane.
Our airport butler will meet you as you reach the arrivals hall, make your visa-on-arrival payments on a priority basis and deliver you to the luggage carousel. While you watch for your luggage he will circumvent the immigration process which eliminates all queuing by our guests. On his return you will be helped with your luggage, fast-tracked thru customs, and delivered to the villa manager who will be waiting with a cooled car to bring you to the villa.
The charge for the VIP express service (at cost) is US$ 25 pp (which is over and above the visa on arrival payment) which will be added to your villa account.

DEPARTURE
A similar service is available at departure which will save you lifting your luggage through security screenings, and all tedious queuing. Our airport butler does this for you. You will be accompanied until you have received your boarding passes, paid your departure tax, cleared immigration and are delivered to the boarding gate. The charge is USD35 pp and will have been added to your bill at check-out.
There are two additional options that further enhance the departure process:

  • If you wish to have the luggage and ticketing done for you prior to your arrival at the airport (just 60mins prior to your flight rather than 2 hours), your luggage, passports, departure tax (150,000Rp) and tickets will be taken by villa staff to the airport and given to our airport butler who will then be waiting for you with your boarding passes! In the case of Jetstar and Virgin airlines (who do body searches) he will deliver you to the check-in for that procedure and your boarding passes will then be handed to you. He will then take you through to the boarding gate.
The only extra charge for this will be US$ 25 for the luggage vehicle (per group) to leave the villa/s earlier.
  • If you then wish to spend the waiting time in an airport lounge rather than at the boarding gate (and you are not flying business class which would give you complimentary access to a designated lounge) you will be taken to one of the 3 lounges that you can access by payment of between Rp. 150,000 and Rp. 250,000. This can be arranged at the time of booking. Alternatively for outgoing you can engage a porter which means they do the lifting thru security machines. They will then take you to your check-in queue. For approx Rp. 50,000 this is a very inexpensive compromise.
Is there mobile phone reception?

Is there internet access?
Yes, the villas offer free Wi-Fi connection.
Do the villas offer in-house spa treatments?
Massages, therapeutic skin care, traditional Balinese healing therapies and sublime spa experiences are delivered by experts at just US$30 per hour.

Coffee lovers please note that the villas offer cappuccino, macchiato, espresso, etc. using the premium Nespresso pod system.
Are wines and cocktails available at the villas?

What is the plug/voltage situation in Bali?
220 – 240 AC/DC voltage
If you are bringing along any plug-in appliances you should take an international adapter with you.
Round two-pin plugs are the most common types in the region. Voltage is 110/220V.
Remember: an adapter by itself will not change the electrical voltage. You must be sure that your appliance can handle different voltages (either automatically or through a voltage switch). If it can’t, you will need a voltage converter.

When is the best time of the year to go to Bali?
The weather in Bali is generally hot and humid throughout the year. Temperatures range from 24 – 32 degrees Celsius (75 – 89 degree Fahrenheit). Bali has two distinct seasons. The rainy season occurs generally around November through April. April-October included is the dry season but Christmas and January is hugely popular in Bali too. (The wet season is also lovely and sees rain mainly overnight.)
What is the weather like in Bali?
Bali has a tropical climate appropriate to its proximity to the equator. Year round temperatures average around 31 degrees Celsius. There are two distinct seasons, characterized as Rainy and Dry.
The Rainy Season
High humidity can be expected during the rainy season between the months of October and April when there is often daily rain. The rainiest times are between December and February and the days are hot and steamy – truly tropical. Some people just love Bali in the wet season as there are fewer tourists and the monsoonal weather adds to the sense of exotic escape.
The Dry Season
The dry season falls between the months of May and September. The air feels cooler in the dry season; because it’s less humid – so many people consider this the best time to visit Bali. Occasionally rainfall can also be expected during the dry season but usually at night or very early morning. In the months of June to August there is usually a very refreshing cool breeze all day long. The central mountain area is typically cooler than the lower coastal areas especially at night.
