Besakih
Besakih Temple or Pura Besakih is a collection of temples found in the village of Besakih in Eastern Bali and is known as the Mother Temple. It is considered one of the most important temples in Bali and it was built in the 11th. Pura Besakih perched nearly 1000 meters up the side of mount Agung is the oldest and largest Hindu temple in Bali. When Mount Agung erupted in 1963 (killing 1,700 people) the lava flows missed the temple by few meters which is seen as a miracle and a sign from the gods.

Horse Riding
Bali Equestrian Centre offers both village and beach tours. Village tours meander through rice paddies and the local village. Beach tours takes you to Berawa Beach, where you walk along the edge of the waves. They also have a wide range of children’s activities from Tiny Tots, an introduction to horse riding for younger children to Pony Ride with the option of additional grooming, Pony Party to Pony Camp.

Waterbom
If you have kids, the Waterbom park in Kuta is a great place to spend a day swimming and playing on the many exhilarating rides. The park has many attractions, suitable for a range of ages. The gardens and the whole place is kept immaculate. Parents can enjoy just relaxing by the pool. There is even a swim up bar, where you can order drinks and make new friends.

Rafting
You can even enjoy water sports away from the beach in Bali, by rafting along one of its many rivers. Ayung River is the main place for rafting and it can be enjoyed by people of all ages. There are several operators that provide instruction and western grade equipment. Great activity and fun guarantee for a group.

Jatiluwih
Beautiful and pristine, the Jatiluwih Rice Terraces are left alone by the crowds that throng other parts of Bali. Jatiluwih is a favorite tourist destination in Bali famous with the beautiful rice terrace unfolding from the foot of mountain until the coastal side. It is certainly one of places to visit in Bali. According to its name from Jati and luwih, where Jati mean really and Luwih meaning special, good and beautiful. The local paddies are planted in this place look typically of the high relative size plant if it is compared with other pre-eminent paddy planted by most farmers in Bali . Despitefully, Jatiluwih also famous with its organic agriculture system due to the location is located in the in the plateau of Watukaru Mount which is suitable for the agriculture development. Some of the rice terraces are thought to be created as long as 500 years ago, and indeed showcase one of the oldest and most complex systems of agriculture.

Echo Beach
Jabunami Villa is an oasis in Canggu close to Echo Beach a surfer’s paradise. The beaches in Canggu have dark grey or black sand and are not particularly good for swimming, but do offer some renowned and challenging surfing spots. You can walk down the Echo Beach promenade, and enjoy one of the nicest tubes of Bali’s West coast and of course beautiful sunsets.

Bali is well known around the world as a world class surfing destination. Some places are for experienced surfers, but for beginners Bali is a great place to learn surfing. Kuta Beach is a great place to learn from local surfers and you can also rent a board. Some schools guarantee that you will be able to stand up on the board in just one day of instruction.

In villa spa in available on request however spa and massage centers are all over the island. Balinese are excellent masseurs and can provide a range of treatments for your body and skin. It is a great way to wind down after a busy day of exploring the island.

Jabunami Villa offer cooking classes for their guests in a relaxing environment. Balinese food is simple but very delicious. Some dishes use a lot of chili, be prepared for some spicy food… It was a pleasure for our team to host actress Martine Jonckheere and her husband Filip to Jabunami Villa in October 2014.

Tanah Lot
Tanah Lot one of the most popular places of interest in Bali, is located on the coast of West Bali, at the village of Beraban in the Tabanan Regency. The temple Pura Tanah Lot, simple in its construction, is dramatic in its ocean-front location and is one of the main temples in the worship of Balinese gods. Tanah Lot is one of the most photographed places in Bali. Most people visit at sunset and it is a great place for professional and aspiring photographers to capture their own piece of Bali.
